Waiting on the U-bahn to arrive:
The kids and I went on a treasure hunt around the neighborhood. We came back with bags filled with leaves, rocks, sticks, feathers and assorted trash. G insists that she needs to make art out of what she found. Notice how she's too cool to walk with us. Six years old and already needs to put some significant distance between us...
I especially like the conversation between the girls. Have we mentioned yet how much they love UNO?
Yesterday's playdate with Lisa (on the left) and Nadine (on the right). They are in G and C's classes at school.
Half an hour after bedtime last night. We got E a "schlafsac" from IKEA which helps keep him warm at night. It sure does get cold at night here!! It must keep him cozy because he slept through the night for the first time in weeks. Even the girls have been waking up during the night because their room is chilly. G was so cold when she went to bed that she rooted around and found her 'wedding sweater' to put on.
E played in the tent for a while this morning. As long as I was right outside, he thought it was really cool.
And here he comes...
