The Episcopal Church is currently re-evaluating its ministry and polity at its General Convention. GC meets every three years, and deputations from each diocese show up and pray and worship and debate and decide and pray and worship some more. They've been at it for a couple of days so far and they've got a ways to go. (You may remember the international coverage GC got back in 2003 when they voted to allow an openly gay priest who was/is in a committed same-sex relationship be consecrated as bishop.) Several hot-button issues are on the table and I bid your prayers be with those who are there and who will be discerning the future direction of our Church.
