Mother's Day

What a day!  Waffles for family breakfast, getting to wear the evening gown that Grace designed and made for me, sending H off with lots of hugs and a few tears (mostly mine), movies, weeding the paving stones on our patio, sidewalk chalk, climbing out of cribs and falling on our heads, climbing onto tables and dumping out flowers, spilled milk, kicks in faces, time outs, more tears (only some were mine), packing boxes, fists flying, tantruming tempers, baths, E's first crayon masterpiece, requests for yogurt with prunes, 3 rounds of "settle down" after bedtime, some Grand Marnier and chocolate and Photoshop, and a brief chat with the hubby in Washington.  Whew.  Is it Monday yet?
